About MeMary Michele Little has had a passion for clothing and style since she was five years old, growing up in Southern Pines, NC. Ever since her mother taught her how to sew and she created a couture wardrobe for her Barbie's, Michele has known that her future would include a career in fashion.After graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Apparel Arts from UNC-G Michele began her career creating custom bridal gowns and went on to design a line of upscale women's ready-to-wear for more than a dozen years. She has as many years in retail management, dressing women and helping them find a look that's right for them, with a total of more than 20 years' experience helping women look their best! Michele is passionate about helping women discover their unique Signature Style and enjoys empowering them with a clear understanding of what works on them and why. She helps women to create a strategy for getting dressed and encourages them to get rid of anything that doesn't leave them feeling amazing! Michele says the best compliment a client could hear is "You look beautiful" and she understands how powerful actually feeling beautiful can be. Michele volunteers with the Triangle Chapter of Dress for Success, is a member of Chix in Business and Coffee & Contacts Women's Power Networking. She writes a monthly column that appears in Carolina Parent, Charlotte Parent, Indy's Child, Cincinnati Parent, Flagler Parent and Central Penn Parent, Omaha Family and Sandhills Family. She is also a freelance writer and a regular contributor to Triangle Style. Michele lives in Raleigh with her two children, Ivy and Dylan. Michele loves dark chocolate, good red wine, the fragrance of tuberose, vanilla, lavender and bergamot, the color teal, statement necklaces, platform shoes, the roaring '20's, Coco Chanel, good conversation, a great cup of half-caf coffee, goat cheese, fresh herbs, cooking with her kids, baking, yoga, artisanal bread, travel and the color pink.
