Before working with Michele I was wearing a lot of the wrong
colors, including jewel tones and black, that did not complement
my personal coloring, which has changed as I have aged. These
colors looked harsh against my skin and did little to make me
look vibrant. I was not happy about my wardrobe and found that
it was difficult to coordinate outfits.
Michele analyzed my colors, my body and face shape, and my
closet. It was a big ‘a-ha’ to learn what my best colors really
are, and to see how wearing them, especially around my face, can
take years off and make me look great. We discussed how to put
outfits together that flatter my body type and make the most of
my assets. I was a little shocked with how many clothes she took
out of my closet, but it left room for new things that work much
better for me.

Mary Michele spoke about fashion in a different way

Mary Michele was our Cary Chamber of Commerce Business of
Women luncheon speaker in March 2012 and what a wonderful and

As happy as I was to be a new mom and see how amazing my son
was turning out to be as his first birthday approached, I was
also more than a bit let down at how my personal image had
developed that first year. It became abundantly clear that I
could no longer choose my wardrobe based on ease of nursing and
the ability to cover kid stains. I felt frumpy, old and ugly.

Can you imagine shopping the sales rack at the store and
being able to bypass wonderful deals with confidence? Well
I can. Ever since I worked with Michele, I can now run my
fingers over the clothes on the rack and immediately pick
out only the ones that suit me. I no longer linger over a
clothing item and wonder if I should get it because it’s

from first glance of looking at Michele I knew she was
different. And then we were at a conference and when she
came up to the mic with
Fabienne Fredrickson she mentioned that she was an
image consultant, and I knew at the break I needed to track
her down and I needed to talk to her because I had some more
personal live events that I wanted to go and participate in.
I wanted to change my look for my website. I just had a lot
of things I needed to do with imaging and branding, and she
looked flawless.
So, I'm happy to say I did work with Michele that day. She

able just to look at me and tell what my face shape was,

Clarity session. We got SO much done in just 2 hours.
After discovering my best colors and how to dress for my

in streamlining my closet. Now when I purchase clothes I
feel more confident that I am investing in something that is
truly my style. I have a closet full of clothes that I love
and never have the dreaded, 'I have nothing to wear'

Do you hate shopping? Does it seem like clothes are made
for everyone else except you? Is your
closet The Land of What Was I Thinking Misfit Clothes? I
used to be like that too, but now, thanks to Michele, I am
completely transformed and you can be too! Trust me, there
is hope my fashion-challenged Sister!
It’s not that I didn’t look good before I worked with
Michele but that it was such a painful process to find
clothes. The last time I went shopping before I went out
with Michele I spent four hours, $27.00 and got only two
t-shirts. How much do you think those two t-shirts helped me
look better? I spent two hours with Michele and got about
$200.00 worth of clothes that were interchangeable. I spent
less than $50.00 getting the clothes tailored and all of a
sudden, looked better, felt more confident personally and
professionally and was empowered to repeat the process. So
much for my idea that if you went out with a style coach you
were going to spend thousands of dollars…
Before I worked with Michele I would go into a store and
it was a sea of confusion. Except for the men’s clothes,
everything looked equal. Sports clothes, dressy clothes,
junior clothes, women’s clothes, petite clothes… It was a
terrible process because there was no process! It was a
random adventure every time that ended in frustration.
After I worked Michele I understood that there were
several categories that I needed to consider right off the
bat…style, fabric and color. We started with the end goal in
mind of what I needed most. Then, I had to learn to be open
to new things. After all, if you do what you’ve always done,
you’ll get what you’ve always gotten.
Michele was so patient with me. There was one point when
I was slumped in the dressing room, feeling overwhelmed and
ready to cry because I still didn’t understand that I was
learning a process. And ladies, let me tell you…I am tough!
I have walked on 30 feet of hot coals but shopping, forget
about it…shopping was my Kryptonite!
I wish Michele could have seen me confidently walking
into a store the first time without her. I had my color
palette with me and was able to pull it out and think: right
color, wrong style, right style, wrong color, good style,
wrong fabric…hmmm…this is a maybe, I’ll try this on.
I pride myself on being organized and efficient and I
could never justify shopping because it took so much time
and was so inefficient. And ultimately, it was expensive
because I didn’t get things that complimented each other.
Now, it’s easier to get dressed and pack for trips. However,
the best thing is never feeling less confident because of
what I’m wearing. I know I look good and why!
If you’re on the fence about working with Michele get off
the fence and just do it! I know for a fact that Michele is
way better than a well-known Hollywood fashion coach (who
shall remain nameless) that charges thousands of dollars for
her services. Hurry, before Michele raises her prices which
she is entirely justified in doing! And of course, if you’d

My wardrobe is very casual. Because I am a stay at home mom,
I don’t typically have that many events that I need to dress up

I'm so glad I worked with Michele...and know that I

Michele describes developing your style as a process, and
that's exactly how it's been for me. I first worked with her
about a year ago, participating in a Group Color Analysis. It
was very informative and changed the way I think about color in
my wardrobe. One thing she told me is that black is not one of
my best colors, and I have slowly eased most of it out of my
wardrobe. She has given me great tips to make the few black
items I kept work for me and help me look my best.
After having a baby last summer I was ready to redefine my
style to go back to work. I am the mom of three now and have a
very busy life, so creating a wardrobe strategy that works for
me and helps me get dressed quickly and easily is essential. I
signed up for Michele's Beauty Bootcamp which was a great follow
up to having my color analysis done. I proceeded to clean out
my own closet and get rid of bags and bags of clothing that just

getting rid of things that were just taking up space in my
closet and keeping me from seeing the clothes that I loved!
Most recently Michele came to my home for a Closet Clarity
session. After purging so many things on my own there wasn't a
whole lot left to get rid of, but this session was hugely

new way to get maximum versatility from my clothes without

Little did I know before meeting with Michele for a

Thanks so much for taking the time to spend with my on my
Closet Clarity session. During the session, I found out that some pieces
of my wardrobe that I didn't feel completely comfortable in were because
they didn't really suit me! One thing that really hit home with me was
when we determined my face shape…and what colors work best on me…I knew my
aqua jacket coordinated well with my skirts but I just never felt
comfortable in it. It wasn't the fit or the feel of the fabric… the pastel
blue just didn't suit me. You brought clarity to my wardrobe! I was

wardrobe. Pieces that I would never have dared pair before, I now realize
work really well together. You added pop to my look by getting me to think
